Conventional asthma management plans from a GP or asthma nurse will usually include strategies to avoid your asthma triggers and correct use of your medication. The asthma plan may also include daily monitoring with a peak flow meter.
Eight studies have now confirmed the link between asthma and dysfunctional breathing. All good asthma management plans should include breathing exercises and guidelines to help those with asthma better cope with symptoms. No one who breathes correctly should experience asthma symptoms.
